Tesco Energy was formed in late 2010 to provide solutions in the areas of procurement , engineering , Survey, Design, Construction, Maintenance, Project and Site Management, Labor and Training to the oil & Gas , Construction , waste water treatment and Power Plan . Initially based in Indonesia, the company has already expanded to provide solutions to the Singapore market. Tesco Energy is positioned to tackle small to medium scale projects and procurement , both as a stand alone solution provider and in conjunction with our client’s existing staff framework.
In 2008 the directors all agreed that there was an opportunity to create a new supplier to the oil and gas in Indonesia and the surrounding territories to provide bespoke solutions to the problems faced by the Oil and gas , power plan and steel construction company. By the end of the year, Tesco Energy was formed with the intention of providing solutions on the areas of survey, design, construction, procurement and maintenance. Intrinsic to Tesco’s founding principles was the belief that a cohesive structure was required to deliver these solutions. To that end, it was agreed that Tesco Energy could not be just another “body shop” but that we would provide dedicated, highly experienced management services based on our client’s requirements. Our directors are well experienced in the Oil and Gas , Power Plan , Steel Construction , rail and Construction industries, with experience on such high profile projects in some of Multi National Companies.
From this early aspiration, the company is in advanced negotiations with several key players in Indonesia and South East Asia and has supplied a number of machine spare part to several principal contractors.
Tesco Energy has been approached by a number of major contractors to supply technical support and project management services for multi-national company .Tesco Energy is in advanced stage of negotiations with several key players in Indonesia and south east Asia involving projects like Wesco Singapore , Evoqua Singapore , Evocua USA and a Joint Venture with one of Indonesia’s Civil/Engineering/Steel Construction company.

With project management experience gained almost exclusively in the power plan , rail and construction industries, Tesco staff are well versed in the standard contractual processes and procedures demanded by our clients. Our Project Managers are all either members of the Association for Project Management or are working towards accreditation.
Our Construction and Site Managers have all worked their way up to their respective positions through many years of on-site working. TESCO ENERGY, led by our two directors, Nurtopo and Basir Ahmad supported by Senior Engineering Director ( Mr Armedta Budi Asmara ) , Finance Director ( Ms Karjilah ) and Chief Marketing Officer ( Mr Harris Baron ) , bring together almost 15 years of experience and expertise in the Engineering , Procurement, Power Plan and construction industry.
Topo was formerly professional head of Industrial Engineering in US Multi National Company . He is an Industrial Engineer and Master of Management as well as chairperson of the Suma Construction and Indramayu Oil . With 17 years experience in roles ranging from Industrial Engineer, Quality Assurance , to senior management, he has a comprehensive knowledge of EPC projects.
As Executive Director of an oil company in Jakarta ; Mr Basir has vast experience of serving major US Company especially on technical, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering projects in oil, Petrochemical and waste water treatment with dedicated project staff, both planned and reactive. He has the founder and owner of Tesco oil field supply . Mr Basir has intensive relationship with some major of oil and gas company . He also has good track records in supplying some technical equipment and M/C spare part to Proter & Gamble , Exxon , Pertamina , Waskita Karya Precast and some of US major oil Companies in Indonesia . As a partner in Tesco Energy he brings extensive technical , procurement management and business knowledge to the team.
As chief of Finance and accounting Director , she manages portfolio of Tesco’s project especially for finance and account receivable report . Very capable and dynamic Finance Director with a proven track record in the delivery of major contracts for the major clients and underground sectors. She has a background in finance with extensive experience in the fields of finance and accounting report. A flexible yet positive approach to decision making has produced a valuable team builder especially in account and finance department.
Haris is a Chief Marketing Officer that manage a portfolio of projects from tender to final account settlement. As part of the management team, he implement the strategic mandate to ensure the portfolio risk is within an acceptable tolerance. He also develop new resourcing solutions for clients in Indonesia on oil & gas projects and procurement. This involved internationally sourcing and developing new technologies that delivered cost and production efficiencies and/or improved the safe working environment of front line colleagues. As a CMO, he focused on fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to establish and expand new market .
Yati is capable and dynamic operation officer with a proven track record in the delivery of major contracts for the major clients and underground sectors. She has a background as an operation officer with extensive experience in the fields of administration and procurement. A flexible yet positive approach to decision making has produced a valuable team builder, team player and first-rate team leader. A confident and hardworking individual with full appreciation on administration and many years of hands-on experience who achieves balanced and successful results every time especially in implementing company operation process.
We have a specialist team on hand to service any aspect of Permanent Way survey, design, installation, testing and maintenance. Our procurement division has extensive experience of supplying some technical material . The Power Plan team has the specialist knowledge of design, installation and commissioning of power plan.
